Molly

is a Lab Tech who grew up in a small town

and has always been interested in antiques and old furniture, especially things that were owned by her family personally. She has a love for finding a new purpose for something old and altering it to make it her own. Now that she has her own house, she spends a lot of time working with her personal carpenter

painting, decorating, and personalizing it.

Molly worked in a nursing home in high school and gained tremendous respect for her elders. She believes we all can learn something from our superiors and ancestry. She definitely has adoration for the knowledge and experience her grandparents, great-grandparents, and parents have taught and passed down to her.

Some of Molly’s other interests include cleaning, organizing, and making schedules.

Her Nannie passed down her love of vacuuming and cleaning to Molly. Molly’s biggest fear is having people see her house a mess. She has many favorite products and websites she will include in the blog.

The women in Molly’s life have always had an amazing ability to entertain and make large meals at get-togethers, while making it look easy and effortless. Molly has hopes of achieving that capability!

When Molly has a day off she enjoys baking and trying new recipes. Baking is relaxing to Molly and gives her an opportunity to use her red Kitchen Aid Standup Mixer,

Gretchen was a Bridal shower gift from Molly’s mom, Sue and is very special to her.

Cooking a good meal is always a personal achievement for Molly. She likes to have the kitchen to herself and take time to drink wine while she cooks. Cheap red wine is a favorite of hers and visiting local wineries with her girlfriends.

Nicole Curtis, Rehab Addict on DIY network is admired by Molly. She is a young beautiful woman who restores old homes to their former glory. She shows hard work pays off and shares many of Molly’s interests and loves.
